1. Bring a pot of water to a boil, seasonwith salt and add in pasta. Cook to packetinstruction, before straining.
  2. Add oil to a skillet on medium heat and stir in mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes until soft, before adding in bolognese and tomatoes.
  3. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, season with salt & pepper if needed. Strain pasta and in a baking dish combine the sauce and pasta. Sprinkle over cheese and breadcrumbs.
  4. Place underneath the broiler/grill for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Serve it up!

To Serve:

1/2 cup bread crumbs 3/4 cup tasty cheese, or plant based cheese, grated


  • 1 packet of Ziti
  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 16oz packet of Bologenese

  • 1/2 lb of cremini mushrooms
  • 1 32oz can peeled tomatoes
  • Pinch of salt & pepper
